Simon Chandler is a singer-songwriter who has for many years specialised in Brazilian music, but who also makes forays into the territory of jazz-folk.  After a break from music publication after his 2010 English-language album, 'Branco e Preto', Simon has subsequently released three more albums: 'O Hiraeth i Saudade' (in Welsh) in 2017, 'The Silence Inside/Y Tawelwch Tu Mewn' (in both English and Welsh) in 2019, in collaboration with the guitarist, Angus Barclay, and 'Tu Hwnt i'r Afon' (in Welsh) in 2022, in collaboration with the poet, Aled Lewis Evans, and featuring the vocals of Menna Collins
