Jamie Bosanko hails from the small but busy shipyard town of Barrow in Furness and nestled between the sea and the English Lake District, his songs reflect the diversity of his surroundings. Able to evoke and convey warmth and emotion alongside acerbic, indie-punk anthems, Jamie is a songwriter, singer and guitarist completely at ease with his craft and worthy of your attention.
With a live session for BBC Introducing and opening gigs for legends such as Ocean Colour Scene under his belt, Jamie released his debut album ‘Echolocation’ and is currently releasing a string of new brand new singles, the latest of which ‘Jennifer’ drops on September the 1st
His traditionally Indie approach is both infectious and entertaining but his recordings incorporate wider influences, with Tom Petty, The Beatles, Aimee Mann, R.E.M. and Del Amitri amongst his favourite artists.
